Born in Fall 

after Her month
She had her month and stopped
And then I was born 

in November.
And She  laid down in the earth
As Winter arose
And clenching Her fists as
She sank into Her sleep
Her dark amber eyes began to close
~~silent
and then I entered this world

With clenched teeth
My lips parted
As I choked and drowned
My chest cleared as I drew my breath
And screamed
The amber eyes opened
~~~the White Lady cocked Her head
And listened.
